Alltel is Now Verizon Wireless

On October 18, 2009 Alltel postpaid cellular service in Northern Wisconsin converted to Verizon Wireless service as a result of a
merger between the two companies. Most converted Alltel customers are not required to change plans or phones due to the transition.
Some Verizon Wireless data features may only be available on
Verizon branded equipment.

Alltel prepaid service converted to Verizon Wireless on
November 1, 2009. The minimum amount to add to a
prepaid account is now $15 plus taxes.
